Scott and Hobbes on location
I’m a fourth-generation photographer, shaped by a lineage of artists who have inspired my passion and sharpened my eye. My great-grandfather worked alongside the legendary Group f/64, and that deep artistic heritage has profoundly influenced my journey.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University, where I studied Art, History, and Philosophy—disciplines that continue to inform how I see and interpret the world. I was raised in a small mountain town tucked between Aspen and Vail, Colorado, where conversations about composition, and storytelling were a part of everyday life. From a young age, I learned to see the natural beauty of the world and it's form through the lens.
To me, photography is the art of capturing emotion. Whether in the studio or on location, chasing the perfect light is both the greatest challenge and the greatest reward. It’s what breathes life into an image.
Today, I’m honored to have had my work featured in exhibitions in Paris and the United States, and to collaborate with a wide range of clients who value authenticity, artistry and visual impact.
